In Anduze, Mas Paulet

Mas Paulet, a large three-storeyed mansion built in the 19th century is located in Anduze, "Gate to the Cévennes". Formerly called Mas de la Coste, it owes its name to Jean-Jacques Paulet (Gaspard's son), who was born in Anduze in April 1740 and died in Fontainebleau in August 1826.
A famous physician, scientist, botanist, writer, Jean-Jacques Paulet was also the doctor of King Charles Xth (1757-1836), at the royal palace of Fontainebleau
